I am truly dependable and a team player.  I am always willing to contribute more. I have been with United Community Supports for three years and have only scheduled to be off once. My client and administrator reviews are consistently high.

I have been working with the company for almost 2 years. Being with you all has taught me a lot and I have gained a lot of growth. I have learned that not only is patience the key to success but my love for what I do grows my heart and mind more each day. I am devoted to my journey with my clients and you all. I thank you for the opportunity of change, growth and love that was given to me.

Evelyn A.

I’ve been working with my client for two years and beside being her mentor/aid during that time, I have convinced myself that God puts people in our path for a purpose. In this case, it was for me to meet her. Every day, I learn something new about her and I believe I have become I better person because of her. I’m very proud of myself because my client today is more independent and confident about a lot things. I always try to go an extra Mile for her because I want to make sure that she is happy like she deserves to be. It pasionates me to make others to feel good about themselves. My client isn’t my client anymore we see each other as good friends and I’m pretty sure it will last even thought, I stop working for this agency.

Camerie P.

I have demonstrated leadership strengths and proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines. Worked throughout college to partially self-finance education. Well organized with attention to detail. Works well independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting. Proven ability to ‘think outside the box’ in identifying problems and implementing innovative solutions.

Janet O.

I take good care and support my clients always, I do my assigned schedule regularly and I turn in my paper work on time.

Montai C.

I take pride in doing all that is needed to support my client to the fullest. I love my client and I love working for this agency! Working with the client has not only impacted him, but me as well.  We love going out into the community to go work on his money management skills while going out to eat, going shopping or even going to our local community center to workout. My client also enjoys going to his basketball practices, assisting me with cooking dinner and working on basic math/time worksheets that I print off for him. I also enjoy going to his annual Halloween/Christmas party dances with him. Just seeing him smile and dance with me at the events, makes me proud! I let my client know everyday how proud of him I am. Even though he may be labeled as different, he is not less! I work my hardest to show him that everyday!

Nathaniel S.

The reason I feel i should be Team member of 2018 is because I inspire and recreate new ideal ideas for my clients as I build my relationship with all my clients. Also when it comes to clients and there shifty schedules I am very proactive and Flexible when it comes to communicate if things need to be arranged... I'm also informative to my peer staff when it comes to events coupons and discounts through the job and my clients. Another point I'll make is when my peer staff when need ideas for their clients I have good interactive activities that they can join.

Rebecca F.

I do my best to make sure that my client is happy and always learning new skills that she can implement on her own while out in the community. My goal is to ensure that my client is able to function independently in the community as much as possible.

Kandice M.

I HAVE WORKED FOR THE AGENCY FOR NOW 2 YEARS . MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN SO REWARDING, MY CLIENT AND HIS FAMILY HAVE BEEN SUCH A BLESSING TO ME. I STARTED THIS PART TIME TO TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE WITH PERSONS WITH AUTISM NOT KNOWING THAT I WOULD GET MUCH MORE. MY CLIENT IN THE BEGINING WAS SEMI VERBAL THAT SOON CHANGED,MY CLIENT NOW ASK QUESTIONS AND ACTUALLY TELLS HIS PARENTS HOW,WHEN AND WHAT HE WANT. HIS PARENT ARE VERY PROUD OF THE GGOD CHANGE IN THIER SON. HIS EXCITEMENT WHEN I RING THEIR DOOR BELL LETS ME KNOW THAT I AM DOING SOMETHING GOOD FOR THIS FELLA.

Kenny O.

I have worked with more than 5 individuals in the agency, those individual has been affected positive by my way of support and good relationships we built together... due to this I believe I worth the award.

Marc D.

On behalf of my nephew, I would like to extend my appreciation for the amazing work done by you since December 2017. The endless hours you have spent working with him to become acclimated to the world outside his home and work environment. He has benefitted immensely from socializing with others his age of similar capacity for learn.  The professionalism that you have portrayed has impressed the entire team of disability services and we deem ourselves honored to have had you to provide services.

Shaniya M.

I believe that I am qualified for the position of employee of the year because United Community Supports is more than a job. It is an opportunity for to give my client the joy of having a good day which she is not able to have with her disability. It has been an enriching experience to serve my client and her family. During my service hours, I help my client with her morning routine such bathing, brushing her teeth, and dressing. The best part of the morning is singing with my client while she is waiting for the bus. We also play games such as Paddy Cake, so she can have an enjoyable day.

Sharita P.

I believe that I should be 2018 staff of the year because not only do I support my clients I actually love my clients like family I try my best to make sure the client are satisfied first also I work on life skills with my client and go above and beyond every time I'm with any of them also because I understand each client is unique and different and you have to understand each and every person and be patient and I feel like I have the tools to do that I also believe that I should be team member of the year because I put my whole heart into working with each individual and not just being a companion but a friend and a family member.

Trenita S.

It is definitely my pleasure to service each individual that I work with. I make it my priority to provide the absolute best services possible, to ensure that my clients are fully supported in all areas. I allow them a sense of normalcy and inclusiveness in all activities. I also create an environment for the client as well as the guardian to reassure them that this is not just a job for me, but I genuinely appreciate who they are. Creating a bond with all parties involved is my mission while maintaining a professional distance with providing the best and proper services. I implement all areas for success with my clients as well as pushing them past their limits.
