Personal Supports Services

Life Skills

Our goal is to touch the lives of the people we serve in ways that promote self-esteem, independence, confidence, self-reliance, decision-making skills, social action and personal growth. Thus, we provide the tools needed to develop skills that can support greater empowerment as well as add to their overall high quality of life.

Community Integration

We fundamentally believe that the individuals that we serve deserve to fully participate in all aspects of community life.  As a result, our Personal Supports services include an emphasis on community activities.  Our team provides all necessary supports to facilitate inclusion.

Partnership with Families

We believe that it is extremely important to work in partnership with our families to ensure that our clients receive the best care possible.  From the very beginning, we seek to learn as much about the individual’s preference and recommended support.  We invite each of our family members to join our Family Support Association (FSA) so that they can become even more involved!  Our FSA members can volunteer with the organization, including as chaperones for activities and outings and as participants in focus groups designed to help us provide even better services.

Community-Based Support

We provide community-based support to individuals with disabilities who are at least 18 years of age.  Our highly-qualifed staff can support as little or as much as needed.

Personal Care

We provide exceptional personal care services to each of the individuals that we serve, while ensuring that each individual is treated with the highest level of respect, compassion and dignity.

Learning Emphasis and Supports

Many adults with intellectual disabilities "age out" of their schools or academic settings prior to the time when they are at their learning peak.  As a result, we can specifically include academic and learning supports if the individual and his/her team wishes.
